Jero Mangku comes from a long line of traditional Balinese Hindu priests. To Mangku, his life is truly an offering. He began teaching yoga over five years ago and is certified by the School of Sacred Arts in Bali. He always brings strong elements of joy, peace, and harmony as well as effort and discipline into his yoga classes. Drawing from a deep knowledge of spirituality, body work, and a life of practice, his classes are very popular with locals, expats, and tourists alike.

Ibu Dayu is both an Ayurvedic Therapist and a yoga teacher. She has studied with a traditional lineage of Indian yoga masters at the Bali India Foundation. She has a profound knowledge of Ayurveda as well as the therapeutical benefits of yoga poses. She helps her students see the healing aspect of yoga practice and her classes focus on pranayama as well as traditional yoga asanas.

Lia’s yoga journey began in 2007, when she discovered yoga as a way to recharge her mind while working a hectic desk job. Through stillness, she found her way back to the ground. As she delved deeper into her practice, she fell more and more in love with yoga and it fundamentally changed the way she lived her life. With this newfound passion, Lia made a big decision to leave her busy life and go for a journey to India to deepen her learning. She studied Indian Traditional Yoga at her first 200 hour training. It was profound to experience the yogic way of life. Later, she continued her journey to Thailand and got certified by Absolute Yoga Academy for another RYT 200hrs in Hot Yoga an Ashtanga – Vinyasa base.

Throughout this journey, yoga and meditation have allowed her to enter the realm of daily living with compassion towards herself and others. By sharing her passion, Lia hopes you will find your own style of personal practice and create your own fun journey to live in.

Hatha Yoga

Iyengar Yoga

Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga

Menik was born and grew up in Bali, which was a great privilege for her to immerse herself and feel the positive vibe in this beautiful, spirit-filled island. She spent most of her life in Bali except when she had an opportunity to study medicine in Yogyakarta. Once she graduated from medical school, she came back to Bali and started working here as a medical professional.

She has worked at an International hospital in Bali for 5.5 years before she decided to resign. She decided to follow her inner voice to discover a new chapter in her life, a new adventure, that could fulfil her soul. She started to travel more, explore new hobbies like photography and finally got hooked on Yoga. It made her happier having a life outside medicine.

Right from the start, she could feel the positive energy flowing through her body after a class. She tried various different styles and began practising more regularly. Finally, she did her yoga teacher training to learn more. She believes Yoga teacher training is not merely to hone your asanas but more to build a strong foundation of understanding of what yoga is all about. Now she does her own daily practice not only on the mat but off the mat. Now, she is not only a full time practising doctor but also a proud addition to our team where she gets a chance to share her daily practice and everything she has learned.

Lisa first started her yoga journey in 1998 and after many years of attending gyms and even more weight training sessions, she decided she needed to be kinder to her body and was looking for a weight control regime. She participated in a yoga class twice a week for 10 years, which inspired her to know more about the spiritual side and the many facets of yoga.

She then completed her Vinyasa yoga teacher-training course , but then discovered Iyengar yoga.

As a young child she had seen pictures of people practicing in the Iyengar way, using ropes, blocks and bolsters to help achieve the poses and was fascinated, and presently teaches Iyengar influenced yoga.

Her passion is feed when she sees just how much her students’ bodies and minds can change and become more open and useable. She strongly believes that these changes however do not happen after just one class but over a regular practice.

Krisna started his yoga journey in 2005 to recover from various sport injuries.

After living abroad for over 20 years and travelling to different corner of the world, Krisna quit his job at the Indonesian Embassy in Ecuador and step outside his comfort zone to continue his path to deepen the knowledge and practise of yoga in Rishikesh, India.

Upon returning to Bali, Krisna has been teaching at few Retreat centres and studios in Ubud. He emphasises his class with the mix of balance, intuitive, mindfulness of the breath and proper alignment of the asana as a union. Yoga helps him to heal, stay grounded and practising self love and living the life authentically.

Krisna is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher 200 Hours (E-RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance and currently live in Ubud.

Hatha, Restorative Yoga

Delia’s yoga journey was started in the early 2010. She came to a studio for a dancing class. The class was cancelled, but there was another class, hatha yoga class.

She could not touch her shin bones, her back posture was really bad, resulting of playing music since kid and being in front of computer way too much. After her first class, she came back, not for a dancing class, but for yoga. She also tried many sport classes and dance classes she could find and afford. but she always came back for yoga. Being curious, she attended various types of yoga classes with different teachers since then, and peeking the books.

Yoga was the escape for her in a fast paced living and after long office hour. She completed hatha yoga training, left office world, and started sharing yoga. Her favourite classes are hatha yoga and restorative yoga. Her yoga class is usually slow paced, emphasizing in moving mindfully, and at the same time building strength, flexibility, and balance to body and mind.
