No booking is necessary. Card facilities available. Visit the studio, we will help you to choose the classes that are the most adapted to your profile. Adinda

Biography

Originally from Jakarta, Adinda has been practicing yoga since 2015. In the past she had difficulties controlling her monkey mind and always stayed up late, as she had a hectic life in her hometown. But when she started doing Yoga for the first time, she found something different in her. She was curious about it, so she did her research about Yoga and started to fall in love. As a result, Adinda decided to do the Yoga Teacher Training at Power of Now Oasis, and is now a RYT 200 hatha vinyasa yoga teacher.

Yoga made Adinda feel more grounded within herself, it helped her face her anxiety as well as her depression several years ago.

Adinda is eager to share her story and knowledge about Yoga and meditation to others as it has many benefits for humans, physically and mentally. Adinda teaches Vinyasa flow regularly, with dynamic movement to build strength mindfully by linking the breath within every movement, and start the asana practice with meditation and pranayama.

Ibu Dayu

Biography

Ibu Dayu is both an Ayurvedic Therapist and a yoga teacher. She has studied with a traditional lineage of Indian yoga masters at the Bali India Foundation. She has a profound knowledge of Ayurveda as well as the therapeutical benefits of yoga poses. She helps her students see the healing aspect of yoga practice and her classes focus on pranayama as well as traditional yoga asanas.

Biography

Krisna started his yoga journey in 2005 to recover from various sports injuries.

After living abroad for over 20 years and travelling to a different corner of the world, Krisna quit his job at the Indonesian Embassy in Ecuador and step outside his comfort zone to continue his path to deepen the knowledge and practise of yoga in Rishikesh, India.

Upon returning to Bali, Krisna has been teaching at few Retreat centres and studios in Ubud. He emphasises his class with the mix of balance, intuitive, mindfulness of the breath and proper alignment of the asana as a union. Yoga helps him to heal, stay grounded and practising self-love and living life authentically.

Krisna is an Experienced 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance and currently lives in Ubud.

Biography

Lia’s yoga journey began in 2007 when she discovered yoga as a way to recharge her mind while working a hectic desk job. Through stillness, she found her way back to the ground. As she delved deeper into her practice, she fell more and more in love with yoga and it fundamentally changed the way she lived her life. With this newfound passion, Lia made a big decision to leave her busy life and go for a journey to India to deepen her learning. She studied Indian Traditional Yoga at her first 200-hour training. It was profound to experience the yogic way of life. Later, she continued her journey to Thailand and got certified by Absolute Yoga Academy for another RYT 200hrs in Hot Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa base.

Throughout this journey, yoga and meditation have allowed her to enter the realm of daily living with compassion towards herself and others. By sharing her passion, Lia hopes you will find your own style of personal practice and create your own fun journey to live in.

Biography

Jero Mangku comes from a long line of traditional Balinese Hindu priests. To Mangku, his life is truly an offering. He began teaching yoga over five years ago and is certified by the School of Sacred Arts in Bali. He always brings strong elements of joy, peace, and harmony as well as effort and discipline into his yoga classes. Drawing from a deep knowledge of spirituality, bodywork, and a life of practice, his classes are very popular with locals, ex-pats, and tourists alike.

Biography

Menik was born in Bali, which allows her to have an immense connection to the spirit-filled island of Bali. Menik is a doctor and has worked at an international hospital in Bali since 2015 before she decided to make yoga a priority. She believes yoga teacher training is not merely to hone your asanas but more to build a strong foundation of understanding of what yoga and life is all about.

Biography

Yogi Sandeep Atri was born near Kurukshetra, Haryana which is the land of Mahabharta (a place where Krishna briefed path of truth to his disciple Arjuna via ‘The Bhagwat Geeta’). Sandeep’s mother is a follower of Bhakti yoga and as his first teacher, taught Sandeep the path of yoga since his early childhood.

Sandeep is a spiritual seeker and is forever a student and loves to teach. This has brought him close to many spiritual Gurus where he has been taught multiple techniques of meditation/Yoga in congruence with these spiritual Gurus.

Specialising in meditation, asana, Yoga philosophy, self-healing and stress management, he also brings a passion for Ayurvedic and raw detox methods through food and yoga practices.  He has knowledge of a yogic diet to help improve our yogic life where what we eat our body and mind becomes the same.

Sheryl

Biography

Originally from Bogor in East Java, Indonesia, Sheryl moved to Bali in 2013.

Shortly after that, she started practising yoga in Ubud, and during this process rediscovered the meditation and mantras her Indian grandfather taught her when she was young.

Since then her practice has continued to evolve. Sheryl particularly loves acro yoga, vinyasa and thai massage. She loves to connect with people, and she continues to value the space that yoga creates to be present, sit still with herself and dive deep into the mind and breath.

Ulfa

Biography

Ulfa was born in Malang East Java and moved to Bali in 2004. She first started her yoga journey with a Balinese yoga teacher. After that she was keen to gain more knowledge from various yoga teachers around the world. To learn more about philosophy, meditation and methodology of yoga asana, she completed a vinyasa yoga teacher training and is certified RYT 200hr yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance.

In 2013 she began to teach and organize summer yoga camps in Norway. Her Vinyasa Yoga is all about the connection of feelings, joy, fun, breathing and a positive mind. Her passion about yoga is that it can help you to find your inner connection. It helped her to gain self confidence, self love and stay grounded in her daily life. She likes to connect with people and pass on her knowledge to them.

Hatha

Develop balance, strength, flexibility, and breath control while holding postures in this alignment based class.

 

Hatha Flow

Find balance between effort and relaxation in a class that combines the strength of held postures and the serenity of breath-directed movement.

Vinyasa

Let your mind go in this high energy flow class. A challenging, heat-building practice focused on continual, fluid movement in sync with the breath.

Iyengar

Developed by B. K. S. Iyengar, this is a form of Hatha Yoga that has an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture and breath control.

Yin

Yin is a passive practice where poses are held for 3-5 minutes at a time with the focus on the connective tissues of the body. Most postures are seated, with focus on the whole physical and emotional body.

Restorative

Quiet your mind, relieve aches and soothe your soul in tranquil sessions that leave you refreshed.

Free Meditation

Monday through Friday 6:00 to 6:30 pm introduction to meditation. This is a free class for anybody.

Bahasa Free

Every Sunday morning the lovely Ibu Dayu offers a free Hatha style yoga class for the local community.

Know Your Body

We believe yoga is about self-responsibility, so please be respectful of your body in order to avoid injuries. If any pain is experienced during your practice, gently ease out of the movement or posture and notify your instructor. Wear comfortable clothing and remember personal hygiene is important as we often share equipment. It may be a good idea to bring a towel. Yoga should be practiced on an empty stomach so please refrain from eating within two hours of your class. Stay well hydrated and get ready for some fun.
