Ulfa is a Vinyasa and Restorative yoga teacher in Bali at Power of Now Oasis in Sanur.
Ulfa was born in Malang, East Java, and moved to Bali in 2004. Her yoga journey began here on the island, learning from a Balinese teacher before her curiosity led her further afield, studying with teachers from around the world to deepen her understanding of philosophy, meditation, and asana.
A RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, Ulfa specialises in Vinyasa yoga and brings a distinct energy to her classes: joyful, grounding, and rooted in breath and feeling. She believes yoga’s greatest gift is the connection it creates within yourself, and that shows in how she teaches. It helped her build self confidence and self love, and she genuinely loves passing that on to others.
In 2013 she began teaching and organising summer yoga camps in Norway, an experience that took her practice into a completely different context and shaped her into the warm and welcoming teacher she is today. Teaching across cultures and climates gave her a flexibility and openness that flows directly into how she holds space for students of all backgrounds and levels.
One of PONO’s longest-standing team members, Ulfa has been with us since the very early days. She teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga as part of our daily class schedule at Power of Now Oasis in Sanur, Bali. As part of our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training she joins the SUP meditation and paddle session on the water.
She also offers SUP yoga, a unique and joyful way to take your practice beyond the mat and out onto the water. Combining balance, breath, and the natural environment of Bali, it is one of the most memorable experiences available at Power of Now Oasis.
Ulfa teaches in Indonesian and English, welcoming students from all over the world to her classes in Sanur.
