Your Month With Us

Course Duration & Faculty

Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training runs for 4 weeks, allowing for time to absorb the program and have a few days off for expeditions or activities together on this beautiful island.

The training will begin with a traditional Balinese ceremony where you will meet our team and your fellow students.

All our faculty are based in Bali. Each training is led by our main teachers, with visiting experts in anatomy, Ayurveda, and the business of yoga. Supported by our course coordinator and studio team, we create a welcoming environment and deliver high-quality training that sets us apart.

Graduation & Yoga Alliance Certification

Yoga is not a competition. As long as you attend all 200 hours and do your best, you will graduate. We have weekly revision tests and encourage all students to teach an open class with fellow students to complete your training. Then, at the end of the final week, we will all enjoy a graduation dinner and a photo shoot together.

Language Support

The course is taught in English, however our team will provide extra support for foreign language students if needed.
We have graduated many French, German, Japanese and other students with limited English because our team will take the time to assist all we can.

Our Location:
At the Beach

Our purpose-built, eco-friendly bamboo studio is one of a kind, right on the beach in the peaceful village of Sanur. A second studio is dedicated to our training students, and both are fully equipped with mats, blocks, straps, and audio-visuals for lectures. We also have a lounge area, juice bar, tea house, and treatment rooms surrounded by a lush garden. Just steps away, explore local markets, temples, and beachside cafes, and experience Bali as it truly is — calm, authentic, and welcoming.

Meal Options

The YTT includes a nourishing breakfast consisting of seasonal fresh fruit with homemade yogurt and premium granola, served at the shala during the breakfast break on training days. You can also choose between a coffee or a tea to enjoy with your meal.

There are plenty of healthy and delicious dining options nearby. Just 50 m from the studio, our partners at Genius Café offer 20% off for our students. Set right on the beach, they serve fresh Western and Asian dishes, with vegan and gluten-free options, nourishing elixirs, and great coffee. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed — a favorite hangout for entrepreneurs and digital nomads enjoying ocean views, acoustic music, and fast Wi-Fi.

For lunch, our team can recommend or arrange healthy meals from nearby restaurants that deliver on time for your lunch break. Most evenings, students love exploring the village to discover Sanur’s many cozy and affordable dinner spots.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Details you might be wondering about

Power of Now Oasis is a semi-nonprofit yoga studio with a beachfront location in Sanur, Bali. Our focus is on small, high-quality trainings (maximum 20 students) with an experienced teaching team. Unlike larger training centers, we emphasize a personalized and supportive environment where students form meaningful connections.

Additionally, profits help fund local community initiatives, making your training an opportunity to give back while you learn.

Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is open to all dedicated yoga practitioners, including beginners. However, since it is an intensive training, having some regular yoga practice beforehand will help you feel more comfortable with the physical aspects.

That said, the most important qualities are interest, motivation, and dedication, we’ve had students who started their yoga journey during the course! While the training is designed to support all levels, it will be challenging, both physically and mentally, so we encourage beginners to come with an open mind and a willingness to learn.

We also send a short reading list before the course so you can get familiar with some of the core ideas and arrive feeling more prepared.

To help you get ready and feel comfortable with what’s coming, you’ll also have the opportunity to join as many daily yoga classes as you’d like at our shala, both 2 weeks before and after the training. This is a great way to build confidence and deepen your practice.

You’ll receive a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate accredited by Yoga Alliance (YA).
This allows you to register with Yoga Alliance if you choose, making you eligible to teach worldwide. Even without YA registration, the certification is widely accepted globally.

Your training fee includes 2 manuals, a notebook, a pen, and mala beads. However, the books from the reading list are not included and should be purchased beforehand.

We provide high-quality mats and props at the studio, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Yes! While this is a teacher training, many students join simply to deepen their practice and understanding of yoga rather than to teach. The course covers asana, philosophy, anatomy, alignment, and meditation, making it a valuable experience for personal growth, even if you don’t plan to teach.

By the end of the training, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to lead a class, but whether or not you pursue teaching is completely up to you.

  • You can pay by card at the studio if you’re in Bali.
  • Otherwise, payments can be made via bank transfer.
  • To secure the early-bird price, full payment is required upfront.

Our training does not include meals.

Students staying at Kolonial House have breakfast included. If you’re not staying at Kolonial House, you still have the option to join the others for breakfast for a small additional cost.

For both breakfast and lunch, we can help organize meals by providing selected menus, with food delivered directly to the shala. In the evenings, students usually explore different restaurants in Sanur. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby.

Sanur is a peaceful, welcoming, and laid-back area of Bali, making it an ideal location for yoga students. It offers a safe and relaxed environment, with quiet streets, a beautiful beachfront, and a friendly local community. Many students enjoy walking, biking, or exploring nearby cafés and shops in their free time. Unlike other parts of Bali, Sanur has a calmer atmosphere, perfect for focusing on your training and unwinding after classes.

Like anywhere, we recommend basic travel precautions, but overall, Sanur is a safe and ideal location for your yoga journey.

Most guests join us with a Visa on Arrival (VoA). It is valid for 30 days and can be extended once for another 30 days, giving you a total stay of up to 60 days.

You can get this visa directly at the airport when you arrive in Bali, or apply for it online before your trip. The cost is 500.000 IDR (around 30 USD), and the extension costs the same amount.

If you plan to stay longer than 60 days, you will need to apply for a different visa type, such as a C1 Visit Visa. .

If you’re unsure which visa is best for your plans, you can always reach out to us, we’re happy to help.
