Allysa
Hatha | Vinyasa

Born and raised in Jakarta, Allysa spent years visiting Bali on holiday before making it her goal to live here properly. In 2023 that goal became reality when she relocated for work and made the island home.

She first discovered yoga during a Bali holiday in 2015. Her practice was on and off over the years, but she always found her way back whenever life felt out of balance. Yoga, for her, has always been a quiet anchor, a way back to herself.

It was the encouragement of the PONO family that gave her the courage to step into teaching, and she completed her 200-hour YTT here at Power of Now Oasis. Now she is living one of her longest-held dreams. Teaching, for Allysa, is not just about guiding others. It is a continuous process of learning and unlearning, of returning to herself again and again.

She teaches Power Hatha, Hatha Flow, and Vinyasa for beginners as part of our daily class schedule.

Ayu, Yuyun, Riska, Indah

Our front office ladies are the daily sunshine of Power of Now Oasis. Mary Ayu, Yuyun, Riska, and Indah are the backbone of everything that happens here, welcoming students with open arms, ordering lunch, sharing local knowledge, and happily organising day trips whenever you need them.

We all do our best to live a yoga lifestyle here in Sanur, and that shared intention has created something genuinely special: a harmonious, happy atmosphere that you can feel in and around the studio every single day.

Ibu Dayu Balinese healer and traditional medicine practitioner at Power of Now Oasis
Ibu Dayu
Ayurvedic Treatments | Yoga and Meditation

Ibu Dayu is one of those people who lights up a room simply by being in it. Balinese born and raised, she carries the warmth, gentleness, and spiritual depth that the island is known for, and it flows naturally into everything she teaches.

Her speciality is Ayurveda, the ancient system of healing that addresses mind, body, and spirit as one. Her treatments are deeply nourishing and complemented by years of experience in yoga and meditation, making her approach genuinely holistic rather than simply theoretical.

At PONO she teaches Hatha, Yin, and Restorative yoga as well as Meditation, bringing the same quiet care to every class. She has been part of our community for many years and is one of our most beloved teachers. Students return to her classes again and again, not just for the practice but for how she makes them feel.

And if you are lucky, you might catch one of her laughing yoga sessions. There is nothing quite like it.

Mangku Balinese spiritual healer and ceremony guide at Power of Now Oasis
Mangku
Hatha | Bali Yoga

Jero Mangku comes from a long line of traditional Balinese Hindu priests, and that heritage runs through everything he does. To Mangku, life itself is an offering, and his teaching reflects that completely.

Certified by the School of Sacred Arts in Bali, he has been part of the PONO team for over a decade and brings something genuinely rare to our schedule: a practice rooted in deep spiritual knowledge, bodywork, and a lifetime of devoted study. His Bali Yoga classes, a dynamic style similar to Ashtanga Vinyasa but drawn from traditional Balinese roots, sit alongside Hatha and meditation in his weekly teaching at the shala.

What makes his classes so loved, by locals, expats, and visitors alike, is the quality of presence he brings. Joy, peace, harmony, effort, discipline: these are not things Mangku teaches so much as things he embodies. Stepping into his class, you feel it.

Kristi RYT200 yoga teacher at Power of Now Oasis Bali
Kristi
Vinyasa | Hatha

Kristi discovered yoga four years ago and it quickly became something much bigger than she expected. She joined the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Power of Now Oasis simply to deepen her own practice, not necessarily to teach. But completing the training changed that. She realised she already had something to give, and plenty more still to learn.

That balance is very much who Kristi is. A student at heart, she continues to take classes from different teachers, drawing inspiration from the way each person’s personality and energy shapes how they teach. It’s that same quality she brings to her own classes: a genuine, creative space where students can feel at ease, connect, and explore.

Since completing her YTT at PONO, Kristi has joined the team and teaches Vinyasa Flow on weekends, fitting her passion for yoga alongside her professional life. She is just getting started, and that enthusiasm is exactly what makes her classes worth showing up for.
