At Power of Now Oasis, we see yoga teacher training as a personal process. Students arrive in Bali for many reasons: new direction, wellness, healing, curiosity, or simply the wish to feel grounded again. Each person begins their own journey, and this journey needs space, calm support, and steady guidance. Since 2010, our beachfront bamboo yoga studio has offered this type of environment. We set out to build a yoga school that cares about more than classes and technique. We wanted a place where students feel open, seen, and supported by both teachers and staff.
Our beachfront location shapes the entire experience. The shala sits beside a peaceful lagoon, and the sound of the sea brings a natural sense of ease. Each day begins with meditation or pranayama, and morning yoga classes. This rhythm sets the mind for learning before moving into anatomy, philosophy, sequencing, or teaching methodology/practice. When students learn in a calm space, they stay present longer and absorb information more clearly. Here is why it works: a settled mind supports steady growth, and that growth builds confidence.

A Support System You Can Rely On
We keep group sizes small. A maximum of twenty students means the teachers have time to check in with everyone. Our highly experienced head teachers lead the course, supported by guest lecturers in Ayurveda, prenatal yoga, and anatomy. The staff stays close to the group and offers help whenever needed. We welcome students from many language backgrounds and offer extra support for anyone who needs more explanation in English. Over the years we have helped French, German, Japanese, and many other students graduate through the Yoga Alliance standards with confidence.
Learning new skills can feel intense, so we stay present every day. When a student feels unsure, we guide them gently. When someone needs more time to practise their teaching, we stay with them. When someone feels tired or homesick, we give space and check in. These small actions help students settle into the training and enjoy the journey instead of feeling rushed.
A Strong Community From Day One
Power of Now Oasis grows into a real community each year. Students study together, review their notes at the café, swim during lunch breaks, and share simple moments like sitting under the trees or walking along the sand. This creates an open and natural bond. Many graduates return to Bali later because they miss the vibe of our beachfront space, the calm mornings, and the steady rhythm of classes by the sea. Some come back to visit the studio or stay for a few days simply to reconnect with the feeling they had during their training. Others stay in touch and meet around the world. They attend each other’s classes, travel together, or reunite whenever their paths cross. These friendships often start quietly during the training and keep growing long after everyone has left the island.
Our community includes our local connections as well. We support the Sole Family Foundation, which has helped families across Bali for more than a decade. We offer scholarships to local Indonesian students and include them fully in our training. Students often say this mix of international and local voices makes the school feel honest and grounded.
Wellness in Every Part of the Training
Student wellness does not end after class. It continues in the places where you rest, eat, and recharge. Many students stay at Kolonial House, a boutique accommodation with a warm, family feel. Others stay at Mercure Sanur, a beachfront hotel with calm garden rooms. Both options give students the quiet space they need after long study hours.
Breakfast at the shala supports physical wellness: fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt, and granola. Herbal teas are available throughout the day. Students also have access to trusted local healers, Ayurveda consultations, massage therapists, and gentle holistic treatments. Many enjoy sunset paddles, beach walks, or quiet journaling to balance the long study days. This combination of yoga, rest, and simple daily care keeps the month steady.
We keep everything clear and open. Students can join activities or keep to themselves. Nothing is forced. This helps every student shape the experience in a way that feels right for their own wellness and growth.
Growing Into a Confident Teacher
By the end of the training, students often say they feel stronger inside and more open in their teaching voice. They leave with the confidence to lead classes in studios at home or online. They also leave with a deeper connection to meditation, breathwork, and their personal practice. The training gives them the structure of a Yoga Alliance program, but the setting in Bali adds something else: a real sense of community and a clear understanding of why yoga matters beyond the mat.
Our school stands beside students every step of the way. We guide them through teaching practice, posture clinics, feedback sessions, and reflections. We make sure each student feels prepared when they stand in front of a group for the first time. The aim is simple. We want students to leave as confident teachers who understand both technique and the human side of teaching.
Join us in Bali and experience a month of yoga, friendly community, and wellness led by teachers who care. Your journey will take place in a beachfront space built from bamboo, held by a supportive team, and open to your own pace of growth.
